So let’s build on those….
Maybe you aren’t quite where you need to be on your water intake. Here’s an easy and beautiful way to increase your daily intake. As soon as you wake up in the morning pour an 8 oz glass of water and CHUG it! Then grab your coffee.
Actually, let’s add that to the challenge – wake up, pee, drink 8 ounces of water before you start your day (as in actually put on coffee or clothes!)
Now let’s build on that movement goal.
Hopefully you are making sure to be in movement every hour for a few minutes (looking at you my desk workers!) Let’s bump this up a little. I want you to look at your lunch break and before/after work time. Ink in a fifteen minute walk twice a day. Sedentary Sandies can do this too.
Your goal in those 15 minute walks is to go faster than normal. Up your speed so you can feel your heart but still carry on a conversation.
Toddy tip: Vodka is a lower calorie liquor. Mix 4 ounces of vodka with 4 ounces of club soda (zero cals) or tonic water (zero cals) OR 4 ounces of straight cranberry juice and save on the calories when you’re merry wishing with friends this season!
