Friday #46

Ugh what a week.

I hate this time of year and I love this time of year.  Quite frankly, I hate it because it is nothing but a big load of stress.  Every November I’m on the war path to return to working for someone else.  This year is no different.  I have been perusing job listings and have came to the conclusion….there’s nothing there for me.

I’m thankful for a lot of stuff.  Let’s not make this Friday before Thanksgiving post sound like an ungrateful pitty party bitch fit post.

I’m thankful for good health, good friends, shelter, healthy kids, life in general.  But you know what would make me a billion percent more thankful right now?  Winning an ungodly sum of money.

Shew now that we got that out of the way…

Here is what was on the blog this week (I haven’t been promoting very well lately.)

Weekend Recap (Can you stand it?) Another weekend down….it wasn’t eventful or exciting but there are lots of gifs.

Instant Pot – Recipes Slightly addicted STILL.

Holiday Prep  A few tips on getting your home totally ready for the holidays with an emphasis on Christmas since you know Thanksgiving is so taboo.

And here are some random snap shots from the week….

The kids were out of school Monday.  I put them to work.

Day off means #cookies #midnovember #teacherworkday #cammyb #harperb

Tuesday this kid begged me to go to skate night.  No one was there for her school.  I made her pay her own way and she cried that she “wasted $5” – welcome to the big world little lady!

Three work outs this week.  I’m in a running mood and elliptical mood so that’s what I’ve been tackling.  Here’s to, hopefully, getting one work out in before the parade on Saturday morning but I am not holding my breath on that one. Oh and if you need some good motivational music and you like rap then you need this channel in your life from Amazon Music: 2000s Hip-Hop Cardio Blast.

And some random thoughts from the week…

“What if I sold everything in this closet?”

“I need a French Press.”

“Maybe I should just get out the Christmas stuff.”

“Shit.  I’m out of wine.” (OK that may have been out loud.)

This weekend….

Christmas parade – what?  Yes, my kid is in it with the GA/RA group she attends on Wednesday night.

We will eat lunch at my mom’s on Sunday in honor of Thanksgiving.  I’m making this and this.

I hear it is going to be chilly and rainy so I better re-stock that wine!

Thanksgiving wine More

Happy Weekend Loves!

  2. I have been on the struggle bus this week and literally making myself ill with anxiety…over what? No clue! But I am just feeling the need to be 100% alone for a day and I’m super stoked that tomorrow is going to be that day. And I seriously have had the thought about selling everything in my closet. 🙂 Hope the parade is super fun! That is one thing I miss about the small town I grew up in.

    1. If you need a small town fix then you need to watch my Snap Chat on Saturday from 10am-2pm. You will be in overdrive LOL! Oh I know where my anxiety is coming from, sister. I need to make some major decisions. Forget the closet sale I think I need a whole house one! XOXOXOX

  3. If I win an ungodly amount of money I promise to share :*. Your workout music looks a lot like mine and I love that so much. I have been SO lazy this week, hardly any gym visits. But I am resting up for the race and recovering from being sick. I am trying to tell myself that it WILL be okay. I mean I did run 16 miles full on sick one week ago. Bleck. Have an amazing weekend friend. Hope you got a few bottles of wine!

  4. Ah hahaha “shit, I’m out of wine”. SO real. Even though your job search is frustrating, just DO NOT settle for something you don’t enjoy! It’s okay to throw a little bitch fit here and there haha, that stuff is exhausting! However… We FEEL ya on the wanting to win boatloads of money! Actually… I’d be okay with just handfuls :).
