And that’s how it ends…

Not one to weekend recap here I am taking a stab at it.  Actually, I’m going a little insane and trying to recap the longest weekend of the year – summer break.

June

June 9th School Ended for the year (Cammy B.) and pretty much forever (My mom.)  I hosted a little get together after the teachers got out on the last day.  It was a fun time and a surprise I pulled off!

We had a fun time spending a few pool days at the Marion’s.  This picture would be the catalyst for what would happen the next week…

We would add to our family by adopting Amendola Cupcake from a cat rescue in Statesville.

She would be optimal at punking us and we would end up with Orange Kitty as well…Amendola would eventually let us know she never left us and Orange Kitty would be rehomed to one of Cammy B’s friends in July.

We hosted a “woo hoo it’s summer” sleep over for Cammy B & her buddies!

Cammy B went to a week long camp with our church group this summer.  It was her first CentriKid experience and SHE LOVED IT!

I bought some very expensive yet very good knives from my sweet Taylor.  Since purchasing them I have nearly sliced off a finger and a thumb.

June 30th I lost my girl.  I miss her every day.

My mom took Harper B and I for a ride and we came home with a little dog who is actually Brady (the probably Chiweenie).

One more week of splashing in the pool and then Harper B will be in school.  And fall can officially begin.  Thanking God for a wonderful summer – it had some difficult spells but the goodness of it all is just more than I could ever ask for.
