Pinterest 5: Summer DIY

OK OK OK who is a fan of DIY?  Anyone?  Apparently a few billion people since there’s a freaking DIY Network and HGTV still exists as well as Michael’s, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby, and whatever else is around the corner.

Some of us DIY on the regular and some of us DIY only during certain times of the year (December?) In honor of the inner wanna-be HGTV star or maybe Cooking Channel goddess inside of us this month’s Pinterest 5 search term is Summer DIY.

Unfortunately, this link up is not going to be anything you’re used to because a) the link up with inLinkz failed and b) I have a job where I do not get the luxury of sitting in front of a computer so I cannot play with it.  So if you want to join in then feel free to right click and copy that graphic over.

The idea is you have a search term available to you or just share something you’ve been searching on Pinterest and pick five of your favorites and share it with the graphic on your blog and by linking up.

I think we get this.

So here are mine!

Isn’t this cute? I was thinking it would rock a birthday party and apparently the pinner did too. I also thought my daugther would enjoy making this. Hmmm?

I adore this. But I don’t live at the beach and I have this huge issue with people who live no where near the beach yet infuse their home to look like a beach cottage. So um yeah moving on.

Does anyone else remember potato or apple stamping? Yes! This brought all those memories back. How cute would this be for pretty much any DIY touch to a gift?

I cannot wait to see if anyone links up and posts some awesome stuff they found on Pinterest.  Becareful manipulating the ads…eeek!

  1. Love your pins. I went through and picked out mine last night. We may or may not have picked one that is the same. I’ll let you guess which one that was. So fun friend. Thanks for hosting. I’ll add my link tomorrow.

      1. I read, I read. I guess I thought you were adding the inlinkz later though. 😂😳 blame it on 6:00 & no coffee.

  2. I LOVE the lemon project. Those are adorable. I also love the fluffly slime, my own kids and students would flip out for that stuff. And those s’more pots are right up my alley 🙂 Have a great day!

  3. Aw man I forgot about this but will set me a reminder to do it next week! I love the lemon stamped towels. And the mini s’more things! My all time favorite DIY is a the drink umbrella wreath. All you do is stick drink umbrellas in a Styrofoam wreath. Instant summer!

  4. OMG…I had some serious love for stamping using veggies and fruit. Carly looks at me all kinds of crazy when I am cutting something up and show her how pretty it would be stamped with paint. I had every intention of joining you and even found something DIY’ish that I wanted to try….and my real job just got in the way. 🙂
