Friday #5

Hello Friday, February, and Super Bowl Weekend!  Here’s a look back at the last seven days in our la la land.

Last Friday was fun.  After preschool the little man and I went to Michael’s and you can see what I created last Friday night by clicking here.

Saturday night we had another date night (three in total for the month of January!)  We went to Logan’s Roadhouse for dinner and then bowling with our friends Josh & Heather.  They are so much fun to hang out with.  I can tell you that Heather and I had a total blast.

Sunday was total laziness.  I cannot even remember what we did other than scan the 200000+ channels only to find nothing to watch.  Wait, no that’s wrong.  We found an awesome documentary on pets on PBS.  IT rocked.

I’m not kidding.

Monday..oh yeah I had a UTI.  I can tell you I don’t have these often but when I do I think I’m dying from a disease frequently found in third world nations.  I took to Pinterest to find holistic help (other than cranberry juice which I do love.)  If you are a Snap Chat friend then you saw what I did.  You were a total witness to my madness.  But guess what?  It worked!

It also helped that I didn’t lie around.  I got in a good work out and drank about three hundred ounces of water and cranberry juice.  Oh and I’m learning to go pee and not just hold it.

Wow we really just connected in this post.

Lives in a pineapple under the sea

Tuesday is quickly becoming a favorite day of the week.  I work and then I generally have a bit of down time between everyone getting home from school.  This week I was able to give my blog a fresh look and finally add in some pineapples.  If you know me then you know I love some pineapples in a major way!

Speaking of tropical fruit I am still churning away at planning our cruise to Mexico!  I’m thrilled with our travel agent.  She’s made it a lot easier even if she is in the process of moving into a new house..eeek!

Blondie Spice aka my daughter is so excited about her first little dance coming up next Friday.  I didn’t think much about it until she asked, “So what do I do if a boy asks me to dance?”  All I could do was roll with laughter of a mixed sort.  1.  That won’t happen as it will be segregation fest 2k17 with kids ages 5-12 in a gym.  2  This is uncomfortable as hell so you will not dance with anyone but a large group of people and you will act like you are nine years old and not nineteen years old.

Wednesday was beautiful – well Tuesday was too we have been in the sixties this week with the exception of today.  My little man enjoyed getting some much needed poultry time in.

I shared with you a project my husband completed for our home yesterday on the blog.  I get to finish up the next project that I am super excited about.  Paint is purchased and work is going down.

I’m looking forward to doing some projects this weekend and hosting our favorite couple for what my husband is calling the Tom Brady Invitational, LOVE!  I hope you all have an incredible weekend!

  1. We have a school dance coming up in a few weeks – 80’s theme!! I am super excited to get the girls all dressed up. Luckily we are still at the age the girls still don’t dance with boys, but I am sure that will all change next year. Also my husband is flying into Boston Sunday night for business. I thought that would be fun to be there if the Patriots win the Super Bowl. Have a great weekend!

  2. School dances are so awkward! I am so looking forward to when Maddi starts going to them though because they are a right of passage. Hahaha! Glad you are feeling better. I will be thinking of you on Sunday 🙂 Have a great weekend!

  3. I am absolutely so happy you are feeling better my friend. And Mr. Bullard is at it again, loving those reclaimed wood shelves, way to recycling an outhouse! Totally random, but has of anyone ever told you how cute your nose is? Just the cutest little button nose! Have a “super” sweet weekend my love!

  4. UTIs are the worst, I’m glad you were able to do something to get rid of it and I do feel more connected to you now lol. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, let’s go Falcons! 😉
