Loving this link up.
So I crossed over to audio books.I cannot say I’m totally sold on being an audio book fan. I like to hold the text and read it on my own. I feel like I soak it in so much better when I’m the one reading it. Also, it seems fitting to note that when I was in school and the teacher pulled out a book to read (typically before lunch) I would nod off. I hated being read to. So lets just say there is a lot of irony in that first sentence of this paragraph.
Currently: Finishing up The Best Yes. A lot of people told me it helped them say no but this book is helping me say yes to things I think are too “self” oriented and make decisions without guilt. Lysa Terkeurst is an amazing and super inspirational writer. Reading and hearing her work makes me think – look I have a cheerleader!
My next book to read is still Truly, Madly, Guilty. I am a big Liane Moriarty fan. This book is also an audio book that I have in queue to um, read? Listen to? Whatever.
After that…I’m not sure! So many blog friends have given me a plethora of great titles to read so I have plenty to choose from.
Back to that whole audio book thing – I only crossed over because I had two free Audible credits from Amazon. I figured that while I was doing my workouts on the stationary equipment I could plug into a book. This girl could never read while exercising. Trust me I will not be typing, “I crossed over to reading text while working out.” I promise.
Just like last month I want to highlight some blogs I’m loving!
